The 2011 - 2012 troupe consists of:
Jennifer Hogan - Director for six years creating original shows and establishing the teaching academy. With great relationshps with industry partners Siamsoir has the unique advantage of offering its pupils great opportunities as well as dancing experiences. As a dancer from the age of 3, teaching and performing was inevitable for Jennifer. |
Aisling Byers - a new addition to the Troupe, hailing from Ireland, brings an experienced repertoire and technical ability to the company. An inspirational dancer. Aisling also sits on the management team as an advisor. |
Rachel Smith - is an accomplished and seasoned dance performer in both Irish and more recently in contemporary. Her stunning portrayal of Vala in The Prophecy was highly regarded by experts in the field. She is also an incredibly talented musician, specialising in celtic harp. Rachel is the longest ever serving member of the Troupe having danced with Siamsoir since 2006. |
Georgia Waters - as a dancer in the performance troupe since 2009 Georgia brings experience and a performance ability like no other. Her other dance talents in Highland and hip-hop ensure a fluency and depth in her dance style. Georgia also sits on the management team as the Marketing manager. |
Anna Burnside - as a new addition to the troupe Anna brings exceptional soft shoe dancing and a great on stage performance. Her ability to connect with an audience ensures a perfect Siamsoir style performance every time. |
Audition Information
The Performance Troupe is the highest level in the Academy. In order to gain a position on the troupe, all dancers are members of the Academy of Performance Irish Dance. Every position in the troupe is valid for one year. Every year everyone must audition for a place.
Casting Information
Casting for each theatrical show is open to all members of the Academy and the Performance Troupe. Casting for the 2012 show and tour company will take place in May 2012.

Malcolm Roxburgh | Malcolm is a graduate of the University of St Andrews with a joint degree in Maths and Chemistry, and a Masters in Finance from Strathclyde University. He currently works at the Royal Bank of Scotland. |

Troupe Alumni
Rebecca Carradice 2007 - 2011:
Becca completed her degree at Edinburgh University and like so many students once they graduate they leave their university city. Becca now lives and works in Leeds. Her hardshoe was an incredibly rythmic and fascinating thing to watch. As a committed member of the team from the moment she joined SIamsoir back in 2007 she helped create the performance troupe of 2009 - 2011 which leaves a lasting legacy in the memory of Siamsoir.
Sarah Maxwell 2007 - 2011:
Sarah contributed her entire being to Siamsoir. As the lead dancer of the most successful SIamsoir show to date'The Prophecy' she brought the main character of Aoife to life in a most unique and admirable way. She helped Siamsoir get 4 star reviews and wowed audiences with her incredible storytelling and acting abilities. She also worked so hard behind the scenes as Funding Manager that she received a special award in 2011 for 'Outstanding Services to Siamsoir'. Siamsoir will not be the same without her.
Tara Beck 2007 - 2011:
Now Tara Bradley, she gave so much to Siamsoir winning the coveted 'So Siamsoir' award in 2009. An exceptional dancer, Tara interacted with audiences on both the national and international stage. She helped Siamsoir gain their return invitation to the Beltain Festival, Aviles, Spain for 2012.
Sarah McGuire 2009 - 2011:
Sarah contributed excellent technical dancing to Siamsoir reminding us to push ourselves and try new tricks all the time. She was an inspiration the the Elite Performance Troupe and although she is studying abroad we hope to have her back again someday...
