The Prophecy on tour

Irish Dancers from Edinburgh touring with Award Winning Irish Dance Show

This award winning Faery tale in Irish Steps is currently touring Scotland with plans to tour UK and Eire in the future.

‘A stranger stolen from a mortal land
Must bring together the warring clans
Be warned that time will disappear
And leave that stranger ever here..’

The Prophecy is gently inspired by W. B Yeats’ poem ‘The Changeling’ which tells of faeries stealing children away to live with them in Tir Na’ Og, the Faery Kingdom.

Set in the 1920s and delving into the mythical land of the Isle of Shadows, the ‘stolen child’, Aoife, is taken by the Queen of the Faeries, Erin, to complete a prophecy in the Faery kingdom.

Once in this magical land Aoife must fulfill the prophecy by encouraging the Faeries to unite with the dangerous Shadow people led by Queen Vala, before time runs out.
